If elected, my first and foremost priority will always be public safety—because nothing matters more than protecting our community and improving our quality of life.

We are facing a stray animal crisis that is spiraling out of control. This is not just an animal issue—it’s a public safety issue. I will aggressively pursue state, federal, and county grants to strengthen our Animal Services Department, while also pushing for smart policy changes that actually address the root of the problem.

Public safety also means being able to see where you're going at night. Too many of our streets are dangerously dark. I will work to secure funding for solar-powered streetlights throughout our city, making our roads safer for drivers, pedestrians, and families alike.

And let’s talk about our roads—because everyone feels it. Potholes are destroying vehicles and frustrating residents daily. I support bringing the work in-house, investing in the right equipment, and building a small, dedicated team to fix our streets efficiently and cost-effectively. But we shouldn’t stop there—we need to pave more dirt roads to make our city more attractive for growth and development.

There are transportation grants available right now that can help us hire staff and purchase materials to finally get ahead of this problem. My approach is simple: start with the worst streets first and work our way up—a fair, transparent plan that puts residents first.

This campaign is about real solutions, not talk. It’s about taking action where it matters most.

Together, we can build a safer, stronger California City.
